safety page photoThe safety of your children and family is our TOP priority. We are committed to providing safe dental care, especially amidst the current COVID-19 pandemic. We follow all recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Ohio State Dental Board.

In addition to routine dental disinfection and equipment sterilization practices:

-TOUCH FREE registration, forms, checkout and payments using our state-of-the-art paperless communication systems. All written documents can be filled out in the comfort of your home or in our office via your own cell phone or tablet. Free wifi available. Of course, we will have a disinfected tablet for you to use in our office if you prefer.

-Cleanable surfaces. Our new, modern office has no carpet. All furniture and surfaces are able to be disinfected.

-Health screening for anyone entering our office. Temperatures will be taken and everyone will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering. We encourage adults to bring your own mask from home to wear in the office.

-Proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the staff. Appropriate masking, face shields, hair and uniform covers, gloves and more! Although we wish we didn’t have to cover our smiles, we may have to do so to keep everyone safe. Before your visit, you may be emailed an introductory video to show your child our friendly faces behind our PPE!

-High speed suction devices and tooth covering devices (“raincoat” as we tell the kids) to reduce aerosols.

-HEPA air filters

-Increased time between patients to allow for extra disinfection of all touched surfaces. We ask that you not bring food or drink into the office. Also please consider limiting the number of extra family members who attend the appointment.

*Disclaimer: We will continue to update our policies in the event that any recommendations change. If you have any questions about our practices, or if one of your family members needs special additional accommodations, feel free to contact our office to speak to Dr. Lauren directly
